Rat Invasion

Chanel's A/W 11 Ad Campaign featuring the world's most wanted model - Freja Beha Erichsen sitting alone in a photo booth in what seems to be a subway/underground see Karl Lagerfeld who shot the Ad maybe losing the plot a little bit.

Writing across the models face, whilst having a blank expression seems a half hearted attempt at a new quirky take on the fashion house. Are they trying to make the world famous brand more appealing to teenage fashion tribe's?

The writing roughly translates into " it isn't in fashion if it doesn't hit the street's..."!  What are chanel doing? Trying to change the typical classy Chanel wearing woman into an average everyday person who rides the tube?.... Erm, it's just wrong!

It gets worse, although you may think Freja has been dressed up like catwoman for a kooky edge to the shoot, rumours have reported that infact she is dressed up as a rat!  A RAT!
